Tu Fu Bay is located on the southern tip of Lingshui overlooking the South China Sea. To the east is Wan Fu Village and
Sanya’s Haitang Bay, and to the west is Chi Ling Village.
It is said Tu Fu Bay has over one thousand years of history. Within half a kilometer of the beach you will find many
Islamic Tombs extending as far as Sanya’s Xiang Ling Po. Archaeologists believe that Tu Fu Bay was once the Ocean’s
Silk Road’s staging post which is why Tu Fu Bay’s scenery reflects Hainan’s landscape and ancient Islamic culture.
The Tu Fu Bay Scenic Area covers an area of 379 hectares; coconut trees gently sway in the breeze, green grass carpets the
ground and boats bob on the water. It’s one of the most relaxing places to spend the day with friends or family in Lingshui.
Tu Fu Bay’s seafood is already famous outside of Lingshui so visitors to Tu Fu Bay have to try the widely popular seafood
feast! Around Tu Fu Bay there are many open air seafood stalls at which to eat at – don’t be put off by their simple
appearance – these are places offer the most delicious seafood! Apart from the seafood, the Hainanese food sold is also
extremely good – light and delicate flavours without being oily. Be ready to excite your tastebuds!
